... Johnny Mills, that is, on March 17th, to bring Paddy's Night in with style in fabulous award-winning film from 1970, Ryan's Daughter. Still Food and Film for a Fiver - delicious Irish Stew, of course, & with a veggy option, and a few fiddle jigs from Nick Pynn if you're good (or a Val Doonican song or two from Jane Bom-Bane if you aren't).

Food and Film for a Fiver: we open at 5pm on Wednesdays, and film starts at 8, so arrive any time for your bowl of warming nosh. But book first. Bar all night, and pud offered at half-time (homemade brownies and/or choice of ice cream).
On Wednesdays, if you don't want to watch the film, you can sit upstairs and still eat for a fiver, but you have to whisper!

10th - Don Giovanni (1979), on Kaja our trusty and discerning chief chef's recommendation. Beautiful opera by Mozart,  spectacularly shot, and directed by Joseph Losey, starring Ruggero Raimondi and John Macurdy
17th Paddy's Night Special. See above.
24th - South Pacific (1958) Rodgers and Hammerstein's classic musical with star-studded cast and some of the best songs ever.
30th - Sing-a-long-a-Wickerman. Dr David Bramwell himself, he of the Cheeky Guide, and the gorgeous Eliza Skelton from The Desperate Ones return to Bom-Bane's by popular request to lead you through the songs of this 1973 cult epic with Britt Ekland and the recently late Edward Woodward.

Entertainment this month at 8pm for £3 on Tuesdays. Bookings only. If you'd like to eat first (last orders 7pm) tell us when you book.
9th  Rose (Nat, our weekend chef's, girlfriend) and local student friends organise a bumper night of music, puppetry and surprise. And an extra £3 tonight gives you a bowl of Nat's best curry!
